Hunter's Chocolate Chip Cherry Al'orange Cookie Drops

Deneece Gursky

Ok true story here..My son loves to bake with me, he is seven. At Christmas time this past year he wanted to make up his own cookie recipe, so to make it a bit easier I allowed him to choose a cake mix for the base. He setteled on an orange cake mix. Then I allowed him to add whatever mixin's he wanted. He chose chocolate chips and dried cherries. He also wanted to add just a touch of orange extract. So I gave him all the ingrediants and he had at it! This is what he came up with. And wow they were really very good!!!

*and by the way he actually named them lol
