humpty dumpty cookies

I have enjoyed these cookies for a long time and misplaced the recipe. In going through my numerous cookbooks, I found it and wanted to share with everyone. The frosting calls for a chocolate butter cream frosting but I just make a powdered sugar frosting and add cocoa to it.

Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 4 - chocolate, unsweetened squares, melted and cooled
- 1 cup butter flavored crisco
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make humpty dumpty cookies

Step 1Cream sugar, shortening, and vanilla. Add chocolate and eggs; beat well. Alternate flour with dry ingredients and buttermilk.

Step 2400 degrees - 12 - 15 minutes; drop rounded tsp. onto greased cookie sheet. ENJOY!
