1MIX ALL INGREDIENTS. (except preserves) in large bowl and knead for about 5 minutes. REMOVE 1/2 DOUGH N FLATTN OUT TO 1/4" or so
2take a glass and make enough circles to fill up flattened dough...pick up excess and put in bowl with other half of dough.
3PREHEAT OVEN 350. FLATTN one circle at a time and put 1 tsp. of preserves in center n fold up three sides to form a triangle and pinch corners.
4PLACE HAMENTACHEN ON COOKIE SHEETS....NO PREPPING OF PAN IS NEEDD. BAKE FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
5CONTINUE FORMING HAMENTACHEN WITH REMAINN DOUGH (MIGHT need to be kneaded for another minute before continuing )
6ONCE THEY HAVE BROWND A BIT REMOVE FROM OVEN N LET COOL....(TASTES EVEN BETTER NEXT DAY) ...ENJOY :)
