    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 1/4 c
    flour
  • 5 pkg
    hot chocolate mix (.7 oz each)
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    vanilla or white chocolate chips

How to Make Hot Chocolate Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, hot chocolate mix, salt, and baking soda.
  4. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until thick dough forms.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop cookies onto ungreased baking sheet with cookie scoop or heaping tablespoon.
  7. Bake for about 10-14 minutes.
