this recipe is fun and easy . look fun for kids to make and eat. i was looking for a fun recipe for a friend ,and she needed something with no eggs or peanuts . i came up with this .

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter,softened.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips, melted,divided.
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • - mini marshamellows, cut into small pieces.

How To Make hot chocolate cookies

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350. lightly grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
    beat butter, sugar and salt in large bowl, until well blended.add 1/4 cup melted chocolate.beat until well blended.gradually add flour, beating after each addition.
  • Step 3
    shape dough into level tablespoonfuls into balls.{if dough is too soft , refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm enough to handle}.
  • Step 4
    place 2 inches apart in prepared cookie sheet.flatten to 1/2 inch thickness.bake 15 to 17 minutes or until firm. cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes .
  • Step 5
    remove to wire racks, cool completely.spread 1 teaspoon remaining melted chocolate on each cookie . sprinkle with marshamallows pieces.
  • Step 6
    press gently into chocolate .refrigerate at least 1 hour or until set.
