honey roasted chocolate chippers

I got this recipe from a hometown cookbook. These cookies smell so good coming out of the oven kind of like funnel cake. The only change I would make is I will use a glazed peanut next time instead of honey roasted. This cookie also doesn't have a lot of chocolate chips so feel free to increase the amount if you like more.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • 3 packages (1.6-2 oz)milky way or caramello bars (caramelllos are really hard to chop so i use milky ways)

How To Make honey roasted chocolate chippers

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 and grease cookie sheets
  • Step 2
    Loosely cream the butter and brown sugar together. You want the mixture to be lumpy.
  • Step 3
    Add the cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, egg, milk and vanilla. stir to combine
  • Step 4
    Add the rest of the ingredients and drop into greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes
