I got this recipe from a hometown cookbook. These cookies smell so good coming out of the oven kind of like funnel cake. The only change I would make is I will use a glazed peanut next time instead of honey roasted. This cookie also doesn't have a lot of chocolate chips so feel free to increase the amount if you like more.

butter, softened
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1
egg
2 Tbsp
milk
1 tsp
vanilla
1 3/4 c
flour
1/2 c
rolled oats
1 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c
honey roasted peanuts
3 pkg
(1.6-2 oz)milky way or caramello bars (caramelllos are really hard to chop so i use milky ways)

How to Make Honey roasted chocolate chippers

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 and grease cookie sheets
  • 2Loosely cream the butter and brown sugar together. You want the mixture to be lumpy.
  • 3Add the cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, egg, milk and vanilla. stir to combine
  • 4Add the rest of the ingredients and drop into greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes
