How to Make Honey Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375°.
  2. Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and honey.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Using a medium size (2 teaspoons) cookie scoop, drop dough about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire racks to cool.
    Store in a tightly covered cookie jar or canister to keep moist.
