This is my spin on Honey bear cookies. The original had chocolate chips, apples and raisins. The chocolate chips and raisins reminded me too much of bear turds so I switched to things they might eat like blueberries and switched to white chocolate

Ingredients

  • LAYER THE FOLLOWING IN A 1-QUART JAR:

  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 c
    rolled oats
  • FILL THE REMAINDER OF THE JAR WITH

  • ·
    vanilla or white chocolate chips
  • ·
    dehydrated apple bits
  • ·
    dehydrated blueberries

How to Make "Honey Bear Cookies" mix in a jar

Step-by-Step

  1. Attach the following recipe on a gift tag:

    Honey Bear Cookies:

    Blend 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons softened butter or margarine, 1/4 cup honey, 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water. Add contents of jar and mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.
