Ingredients

  • 2 cups hershey cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs , beaten
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon rum extract
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch jamacian all spice (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar for rolling brownies in

How To Make home made chocolate brownies- from scratch

  • Step 1
    Preheat Oven To 350 Degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Butter Or Spray 8 Inch Square Baking Pan.
  • Step 3
    In Large Bowl, Beat Cocoa Powder, Butter, Eggs, Sugar vanilla & rum extract together. Sift in flour & other Ingredients. Mix Thoroughly.
  • Step 4
    Transfer Batter into 8 Inch square baking pan & Smooth over top.
  • Step 5
    Bake 30 Minutes. Use toothpick to see if needs to cook longer.
  • Step 6
    Put into freezer right away and let cool for 20 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Take out of freezer, Let stand for 1 Minute.
  • Step 8
    Roll cut out brownie bars into Confectioners Powdered Sugar to desired amount.
  • Step 9
    Garnish top with Vanilla frosting, Sprinkles or anything you desire. Enjoy!! :)
