How to Make Holly's Sugar Cookies
- Cream the sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add cream of tartar, baking soda, salt and extracts. Add vegetable oil. Add flour-one cup at a time. After fully mixed, refrigerate at least 3 hours.
- Remove dough from refrigerator, and scoop dough by heaping teaspoons and hand roll into a ball. Place the balls on a cookie sheet. Lightly moisten the bottom of a glass and dip in sugar. Flatten the cookie dough ball on the cookie sheet.
- Preheat oven to 350F. Bake 12-15 minutes until edges begin to turn golden brown.
