Ingredients
- 2-2/3 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Step 1Sift together flour and salt. Cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming well.

Step 2Blend in unbeaten egg yolk and vanilla, beat well.

Step 3Add dry ingredients gradually.

Step 4Divide: into 5 parts, shape into balls. Press one part of dough in small amounts through cookie press.

Step 5Put on an ungreased cookie sheet. Using any plate to make desired shapes.

Step 6Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes.
