These are my gift-in-a-jar answer to the hippy cookies (as Eric calls them) I make at home. Now you can give them as gifts.

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup chocolate mint chips
1 1/2 cups flour (mix in 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp baking powder )
1/3 cup each of: each roasted sesame seeds, and roasted sun flower seeds
1/2 cup chopped nuts any kind (macadamia, pecans, almonds or walnuts)

How To Make hippie cookies gift in a jar

Step 1

In a qt canning jar layer in order given, seal and and attach a tag saying

Hippy cookies In a mixing bolw add 1 c peanut butter, creamy 1 large egg 1 stick butter, softened 1 tsp vanilla and the contents of the jar and mix well. Roll into 1 inch or so balls and put on a ungreased cookie sheet, press slightly with a fork in the center of each cookie and bake at 350 degrees for
