I originally got this recipe out off of an article dated back from 1967
posted by a Lady named : Mrs. Roger Hodson from Montpelier , Ohio.

She named them cookies but I call them cookie bars , They are delicious!

1 1/2 c
graham crackers, crushed
1 c
shredded coconut
6 oz
butterscotch chips
6 oz
chocolate chips
1 c
1 can(s)
eagle sweetened condensed milk

How to Make Hello Dolly Cookies


  • 1Melt butter in a 9x13" baking pan.
  • 2Sprinkle in layers over top of the melted butter ; graham cracker crumbs , then the butterscotch chips , then the chocolate chips , then the nuts .
  • 3Pour the canned milk over top all.
  • 4Bake @ 350° for 30 minutes.
  • 5When partly cooled cut into squares.
