I am going to a Holiday X-mas party for underprivileged children. I decided to make these delicious cookies.

2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
1 tsp
baking soda
2 stick
butter, softened
1 1/2 c
1 tsp
1 1/2 c
heath bar pieces
1/2 c
walnuts, chopped

How to Make Heath Bar Cookies


  • 1Sift together flour, salt & baking soda. Set aside.
  • 2In a separate bnowl, combine Heath Bar pices & chopped walnuts. Set aside.
  • 3Beat together butter & sugar. Beat in eggs, one a time & vanilla.
  • 4Alternately mix in the Heath Bar mixure & the flour mixture, a third at a time, until well blended.
  • 5Chill cookie dough for atleast 30 minutes.
  • 6Preheat oven to 350. On cookie sheets lines with parchment paper, spoon 1 in balls. Place balls atleast 2 inches apart. Make sure there is room to spread.
  • 7Bake 10-12 minutes, until edges are starting to brown. Remove from oven & let cool for a few minutes. Let cookies cool completely.
