How to Make Hawaiian Cookie Bars
1Beat butter until fluffy and creamy. Beat in the sugar, blending well. Add vanilla.
2Combine flour and salt in a separate bowl. Add to the butter mixture and mix well. Stir in coconut, chocolate, and nuts.
3Press mixture evenly into a 8x8 in square pan. The pan does not need to be greased.
4Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 325 degrees. You want the cookies to be a pale golden brown or lightly browned on the bottom.
5While still warm, cut into squares. Cool in pan.
