I made this for the young adults group at church. It was a big hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 package betty crocker sugar cookie mix
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 jar betty crocker whipped fluffy white frosting
  • - food coloring
  • - jelly beans

How To Make happy easter cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a bowl, stir sugar cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg until dough forms
  • Step 2
    Shape dough into 18-24 1-inch balls. Place an inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Step 3
    Bake 8 minutes. Edges will be a light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Frost cookies. Add coconut to sandwich bag and put 2 drops of food coloring, squeezing and shaking the bag until the color blends all over the coconut.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of coconut onto each cookie. Place 3 jelly beans on top to look like eggs.
