Ingredients

  • 1 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 6 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    egg, beaten with some cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • pinch
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • ·
    sesame seeds

How to Make Culuria (Greek Cookies)

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Combine eggs, oil, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon & vanilla. Mix until all the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Sift the flour into the mixture and blend until dough is workable.
  4. Pinch dough off into small pieces and roll between your finger into a rope. Turn one end one way and the other end in the opposite direction to form an "s".
  5. Brush with egg & cinnamon mixture & sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake in 325 oven for about 25 minutes or until brown.
