great grandma smielewski white cookies
this recipe has been in our family for many years. i got this recipe from my great grandma Smielewski. this is one cookie recipe we make for Christmas, we frost and decorate. if you roll thin they will be crispier cookie but if you roll out thicker it is a nice soft cookie.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 16 ounces container sour cream
- 1 cup crisco
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 to 8 cups flour
How To Make great grandma smielewski white cookies

Step 1mix sugar, 3 eggs, sour cream, and crisco until blended well. add baking soda, nutmeg, baking powder, and vanilla mix well.

Step 2slowing add flour until you can work with your hands. add enough flour so dough is no longer sticky.

Step 3roll out to thickness you want. then cut out with cookie cutters. put on cookie sheets and bake in 375 degree oven for about 10 minutes or untill lightly brown.
