granola cereal bars
This was origianlly a recipe I developed for Fiber One cereal. I decided I did not like the taste, so I went back and redid it using granola. Much better, and less hazardous if you eat more than one!

Ingredients
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon light or dark corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cups granola - any kind
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make granola cereal bars

Step 1Beat egg, and combine with peanut butter and honey in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture starts to bubble. It only takes a couple of minutes - don't stop stirring as it sets up quickly.

Step 2Remove from heat and stir in cereal and nuts; mix well.

Step 3Spread and press evenly into a greased 8" pan. Press firmly and evenly with the back of a large spoon or measuring cup.

Step 4Chill until firm; cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
