Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sour milk (tsp of vinegar, and let set a few minutes until sour)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5 cups flour
How To Make grandma's white cookies

Step 1Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs. Add the flavorings. Add all of the dry ingredients.

Step 2Roll out onto floured surface. Cut with your favorite cookie cutters. Place on a baking sheet (it is better to spray with pam so cookies don't stick!) Bake at 400 for 8 minutes. Decorate as wanted!
