My Grandma used to make these for me when I was little. These were my favorite cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups shortening
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make grandma's bruce's sugar cookies

Step 1Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, milk and vanilla.

Step 2Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.

Step 3Cut in the shortening. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 4Drop onto desered size onto pan. Wet the bottom a drinking glass and dip in sugar. Press the cookie dough lightly with the glass. Bake 375 for 10 minutes.
