Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter, soft (1 stick)
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 c
    packed dark brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Grandma's Peanut Butter Big Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 275. Beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla and salt together in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl combine the flour and baking soda. Slowly add dry mixture to the wet mixture while beating.
  3. Roll 3 tbsp.size portions of the dough into a ball in your hands and press to 1/2 inch flat on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Be careful not to overcook, or the they will not be chewy.
