Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 - egg
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 2 cups flour
How To Make grandma's ginger snaps

Step 1Cream shortening and sugar ; Add egg , corn syrup , and molasses.

Step 2Mix in sifted dry ingredients.

Step 3Roll into small balls and roll in sugar , place 1½" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 4Bake@ 350° until light brown and fluffy about 10 minutes.
