Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg
How To Make grandma's chocolate oatmeal cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.

Step 2Stir together the flower, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.

Step 3In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.

Step 4Beat in a large egg and vanilla extract.

Step 5Stir in the mix from Step #2 along with the rolled oats and chocolate chips.

Step 6Place cookies on cookie sheet (1/2 tbsp each) and bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
