Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 2 cups brown sugar packed
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 3 cups quick cooking oats (quaker)
- 1 cup raisens
- 1 cup walnuts (optional)
How To Make grandma whites raisen oatmeal cookies

Step 1Sift flour,and add soda,salt,cinnamon and cloves.Set aside. Cream shortening,sugar,and eggs.Mix in dry ingredients.Add milk,oatmeal,and raisens.Bake at 350 degrees 12 to 14 minutes. This is a double batch. I don't use walnuts in mine as I like them better without.
