molasses
1 Tbsp
vinegar
1 tsp
ginger
1 Tbsp
soda dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
1 c
margarine
2
eggs
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
cinnamon
4 1/2 c
flour

How to Make Grandma Jennie's Molasses Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Blend together all ingredients well.
  • 2Chill and roll.
  • 3Cut into desired shapes. Sprinkle with sugar before baking.
  • 4Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • 5Grandma's notes: I cut my cookies, put them on the cookie sheet and then sprinkle with sugar. Use a floured cookie sheet.
