My Grandma always had these in with all of her other Christmas cookies. Her Chocolate chip meringues and these were my favorites. Though these are the easier of the two.

Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 13 1/2 oz
    graham cracker crumbs (1 box)
  • 12 oz
    semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    walnut pieces or pecan pieces (optional)

How to Make Grandma Geraldine's Graham Cracker Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. 1- 9 x 13 rectangular pan
  2. 1- mixing bowl
  3. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  4. Mix all of the ingredients together.
  5. Immediately spread mixture evenly into a 9" X 13" pan.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 mins.
  7. Remove from oven. Cool for 5-10 mins. Cut into squares. (I’ve found a pizza cutter works really well for this step.)
  8. Cool some more, or serve immediately. (Goes well with a glass of cold milk, or straight up)
