  • 1 1/2 c
    granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    anise extract
  • 4 c
    flour
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make grandma ferrante's biscotti

  • 1
    Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat adding flavorings. Mix in dry ingredients that have been sifted together.

    Roll on a well floured board into one inch logs. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 375 for 20 min. Remove from oven and slice diagonally into cookies and return to oven til lightly browned. If desired you can add nuts to the cookie and also dip an end in melted chocolate.
