golden peanut butter cookies
This recipe began at the hospital rehab after my husband had open heart surgery. I then updated it so they are not only good, but good for you.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter, smooth if you prefer
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 2 tablespoons Canola Oil
- 3/4 cup Splenda to Measure
- 2 tablespoons Molasses
- 1/4 cup Egg Beaters, or other egg substitute
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 3/4 cup Oat Flour, Old fashioned oats blended until fine
- 3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 cup Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
How To Make golden peanut butter cookies

Step 1Combine peanut butter down to vanilla and mix with electric mixer until well blended. Add flour mixture and beat to blend.

Step 2Shape level tablespoon of dough into balls and arrange 1-12" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten each ball by crisscrossing with tines of fork dipped into sugar.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and let stand 2-3 minutes before removing to finish cooling.
