Gluten free Pizzelles
1/4 cvegetable oil
1/4 cbutter or margarine, softened
1/4 csolid vegetable shortening
1 1/2 csugar
1 1/2 tspanise flavoring
2 1/2 c"gluten-free pantry" french bread and pizza mix
2 tspbaking powder
How to Make Gluten free Pizzelles
- Beat together vegetable oil, butter,shortening and sugar. Add eggs and anise and beat until smooth and fluffy. Combine bread mix and baking powder. Add to liquid and beat until blended. Mixture will be very thick.
Preheat Pizzelle maker according to manufacturer's directions. Drop batter by teaspoon full and cook 30-40 seconds or until lightly browned.
