  • 1 c
  • 3/4 c
  • 1
    egg, well beaten
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 2 & 1/4 c
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 2 & 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Gingersnaps


  1. Cream together first four ingrediants.
  2. Sift dry ingrediants together, and add to creamed mixture.
  3. Chill dough for 2 hours.
  4. Form into balls, and roll in sugar (DO NOT press down).
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. They will crack on top.
