Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar, in separate bowl to roll cookie balls in

How To Make gingersnap cookies

  • Step 1
    Prehat oven to 350. In mixing bowl mix sugar and butter, add egg. Mix well. Add molasses, flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes.
