How to Make Ginger Snaps
- In a bowl beat shortening, soft butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add molasses and eggs beat well.
- In another bowl add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Mix slowly into liquid mixture until all mixed in.
- Put 1/2 cup sugar in bowl, take a teaspoonful of batter and roll into ball then in the sugar.
Bake in 350 degree oven for about 5 minutes. Take out of oven before they go flat.
