I just love ginger snaps, they are a very good snack with milk tea or coffee. And of course sauerbraten just wouldn't be the same with out them. This recipe makes 4 dozen. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup - shortenig
- 1 cup - sugar or splenda
- 1/2 cup - molasses
- 1 - egg room temperature
- 2 cup - all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspo - salt
- 2 teas - baking soda
- 1 teas - cinnamon
- 1 teas - ground cloves
- 1 teas - ground ginger
- PREHEAT OVEN 350
How To Make ginger snaps

Step 1cream shortening and sugar: add molasses and egg. Beat well.

Step 2Mix all dry ingredients, add to wet. Mix well.

Step 3Roll into balls and dip into sugar.

Step 4Place 2 " apart on greased cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes no longer. 4 doz.
