Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon clove, ground
- 2 tablespoons ginger
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
How To Make ginger drops

Step 1Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Step 2Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ginger together.

Step 3In a separate bowl, cream the butter or margarine, shortening and sugar together until fluffy.

Step 4Now add the eggs, one at a time and stir hard after each addition.

Step 5Mix in the molasses and flour mixture thoroughly.

Step 6Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Be sure to allow for spreading. Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool before removing from cooking sheet.
