I was in the baked goods, but not sweets mode. These were a good compromise. I played with a ginger-spice cookie recipe to create these.

1 Tbsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/2 c

dried cranberries

How to Make Ginger-Cranberry Bites


  • 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In medium size mixing bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • 2In a separate large mixing bowl mix oil, applesauce, and molasses. Mix in sugar.
  • 3Slowly add flour mixture to wet mixture, about 1/4 cup at a time.
  • 4After all flour mixture is added fold in the cranberries.
  • 5Roll dough into balls (should yield about 36 balls).
  • 6Lightly grease cookie sheet and place balls on cookie sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  • 7Remove from oven, use spatula to remove balls and place on a wire rack to cool. After cool, store in an airtight container.
