I found this recipe on line awhile ago. I think it's a Pillsbury recipe. These are light, fluffy and chewy. My neighbor says they are like a souffle.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix, german chocolate (with or without pudding)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make german chocolate cake cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Pour cake mix into a mixing bowl and mix in eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
  • Step 3
    Gently fold in chocolate chips, coconut and pecans and mix until just incorporated.
  • Step 4
    Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto baking sheets, leaving 1 to 1-1/2 inches between each one.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until centers are just set. Allow to cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
