I found this recipe on line awhile ago. I think it's a Pillsbury recipe. These are light, fluffy and chewy. My neighbor says they are like a souffle.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    cake mix, german chocolate (with or without pudding)
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 c
    pecans (chopped)
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make German Chocolate Cake Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Pour cake mix into a mixing bowl and mix in eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently fold in chocolate chips, coconut and pecans and mix until just incorporated.
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto baking sheets, leaving 1 to 1-1/2 inches between each one.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until centers are just set. Allow to cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
