Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 package ( 4 oz ) german sweet chocolate, broken into squares
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- TOPPING;
- 2 tablespoons melte butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make german chocolate brownies

Step 1In a heavy saucepan melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth Remove from heat, cool slightly, Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, mix well.

Step 2Combine the flour , baking powder, and salt, add to chocolate mixture. Pour into a greased 9" squar baking pan. bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until a tootpick comes out clean.

Step 3For the topping , combine butter and brown sugar in a bowl, add the coconut, pecans, corn syrup, and milk and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto warm brownies, spred evenly. Broil several inches from the heat for 2-4 minutes or until top is browned and bubbly. Cool on a wire rack, cut into bars.
