full cupboard cookies

Here in Phoenix I don't bake in the summer very much, so my cupboard I keep baking items in was overflowing(I keep it full buying when things are on sale), So the first cool enough day at the end of summer I pulled some things out and made these cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chunks
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 - egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 sticks butter (little cooler than room temp.)
- 1/2 -1 cup nuts (use your favorite) i like cashews
- 1/2 -1 cup dried cranberries

Step 1Mix dry ingredients on low-med speed (not chocolate,nuts or cranberries,yet) Add wet ingredients one at a time on low-med speed til well blended With spoon fold in nuts,chips,chunks,cranberries. You can substitute this part with your favorite trail mix, if desired.

Step 2Spoon onto greased cookie sheet Bake @ 350 for 8 to 10 min or until golden brown. I like mine soft-baked!!
