Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cocoa, unsweetened
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil (note: split oil into (2) 1/3 cup portions
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/3 cups unsifted, all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make fudgy brownies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 1 cup water in small saucepan and heat to boiling.

Step 2Stir cocoa and baking soda together in mixing bowl.

Step 3Blend in 1/3 cup of the vegetable oil into cocoa mixture.

Step 4Add 1/2 cup of boiling water; stir until mixture thickens.

Step 5Stir in sugar, eggs, and remaining 1/3 c. Oil; stir until smooth.

Step 6Add flour, vanilla and salt; blend completely.

Step 7Pour into lightly greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool and frost with chocolate frosting.
