I don't remember where or when I got this recipe, but I make it quite often. It's a moist cake filled with fruity goodness.

Ingredients
- 17 ounces can fruit cocktail, very well drained
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- GLAZE
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
How To Make fruit punch bars

Step 1Drain fruit well.

Step 2In large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy; stir in fruit, flour, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix well.

Step 3Spread in greased 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with coconut and walnuts. Bake at 350° until done, 30-35 minutes. While cake is baking, prepare glaze.

Step 4GLAZE: In saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, evaporated milk and vanilla. Over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add walnuts. Drizzle over hot cake.
