  • 1-1/2 c
  • 1 c
    margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2
  • 4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2/3 c
    orange juice, fresh
  • 3 Tbsp
    grated orange peel

  • 1/4 c
    margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated orange peel
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    orange juice, fresh

How to Make Frosty's Orange Drop Cookies


  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In large bowl, combine sugar and 1 cup margarine, beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add sour cream and eggs, blend well.
  4. Add all remaining cookie ingredients, mix well.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 376 for 8 to 11 minutes or unti edges are light golden brown, immediately remove from cookie sheets.
  7. Meanwhile, in small bowl, blend all frosting ingredients until smooth, adding enough orange juice for desired spreading.
  8. Frost warm cookies.
