  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup baking powder
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups crushed Frosted Flakes cereal
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add the butter, brown sugar, and sugar into a bowl. Beat at high speed for 3 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add the egg and vanilla and beat about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and beat for 3 more minutes.
  • Step 4
    Fold in the crushed frosted flakes and chocolate chips.
  • Step 5
    Grease two baking sheets and add the cooking dough by spoonful onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between.
