- COOKIES
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup dates, pitted & chopped
- FROSTING
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons hotwater
How To Make frosted date creams

Step 1Sift together flour, baking soda, salt.

Step 2Cream 1/2 cup butter, gradually add packed brown sugar.

Step 3Add eggs, sour cream, vanilla.

Step 4Blend in dry mix.

Step 5Stir in dates and nuts.

Step 6Frosting: Brown butter on stove top. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Add tablespoons of hot water and mix until smooth.
