These are nice fluffy cake-like chocolate chip cookies! They are a big hit around the holidays and for any occasion!

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 - eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounces chocolate chips

How To Make fluffy chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

Cream together first three ingredients.

Step 2

Add eggs and beat
Step 3

Add flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla and milk. Mix Well.
Step 4

Add chocolate chips. You can add nuts if desired. Mix Well!
Step 5

Drop a teaspoon of batter on un-greased cookie sheet. bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. They will be rounded and will not get very golden unless you burn them. Touch them to ensure they are fully cooked!
