Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- 1 - egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Step 1This mix must chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight to produce the correct end result.

Step 2Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

Step 3Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in mixer untill creamy.

Step 4Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Step 5Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Step 6Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 7Now, YOU MUST CHILL THE MIX FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS OR OVERNIGHT!!-VERY IMPORTANT!

Step 8Heat oven to 375. Drop by scooper or spoons onto cookie sheet.

Step 9Bake for 9-11 minutes.* *(baking for the minimum time will produce a chewier cookie)
