Ingredients

  • CRUST:

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 c
    butter or oleo, softened
  • 1
    egg
  • FILLING:

  • 1 can(s)
    (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    butter brickle chips

How to Make Favorite Caramel Pecan Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 pan.
  2. In large bowl, combine cake mix, butter. and egg. Mix at high speed till mixture is crumbly.
  3. Press into prepared pan.
  4. In small bowl. beat milk, egg, & vanilla till blended.
  5. Stir in pecans and chips.
  6. Pour over crust: spread to cover.
  7. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Center may appear loose, but will set upon cooling.
  8. Allow bars to cool completely before cutting.
