One of my grandmas recipes... Not sure were this came from and have never made them or tried them...

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 cup sour cream

How To Make farm house cookies

Step 1

Cream first 4 ingredients; add sifted dry ingredients; alternatly with sour cream. Drop on greased sheets, bake 350 about 12 min. (grandma wrote: I put sprinkles or sugar and cinnamon on them, or frosting.)
