Everyone I know loves these cookies. They take a twist from your traditional chocolate chip cookies. I came up with this recipe one day when I decided I was bored with the two recipes I normally used.

Ingredients

3/4 c
butter, softened
1/4 c
shortening
1/2 c
honey
1/2 c
powdered sugar
1/2 c
granulated sugar
3/4 tsp
baking soda
1/4 tsp
salt
2 large
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
2 c
chocolate chips

How to Make Family Fave Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large bowl beat butter and shortening.
  • 2Add Honey, sugars, baking soda and salt. Beat until blended.
  • 3Add eggs, vanilla and cornstarch. Beat until blended.
  • 4Beat as much flour together, stir in rest. I find it easier to break into half cups.
  • 5Chill in fridge for 2-3 Hours. Pre-heat oven to 375 degree F.
  • 6Bake 9-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
