Everyone I know loves these cookies. They take a twist from your traditional chocolate chip cookies. I came up with this recipe one day when I decided I was bored with the two recipes I normally used.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 c
    shortening
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    chocolate chips

How to Make Family Fave Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl beat butter and shortening.
  2. Add Honey, sugars, baking soda and salt. Beat until blended.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla and cornstarch. Beat until blended.
  4. Beat as much flour together, stir in rest. I find it easier to break into half cups.
  5. Chill in fridge for 2-3 Hours. Pre-heat oven to 375 degree F.
  6. Bake 9-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
