Everyone I know loves these cookies. They take a twist from your traditional chocolate chip cookies. I came up with this recipe one day when I decided I was bored with the two recipes I normally used.

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups chocolate chips

How To Make family fave chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

In a large bowl beat butter and shortening.

Step 2

Add Honey, sugars, baking soda and salt. Beat until blended.
Step 3

Add eggs, vanilla and cornstarch. Beat until blended.
Step 4

Beat as much flour together, stir in rest. I find it easier to break into half cups.
Step 5

Chill in fridge for 2-3 Hours. Pre-heat oven to 375 degree F.
Step 6

Bake 9-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
