fabulous fudge filled bars
These are my old faithful!! When I don't know what to make for a dessert, I will make these. Everyone always loves them!! They are quick and easy. I have made them for years. I will make them different by adding pecans to the top or making the bottom thicker by using more cookie dough. Depends on my mood. =)

Ingredients
- 2 - rolls of chocolate chip cookie dough (16.5 oz each; I have even used the cookie mix in a bag or box)
- 2 cups semi-sweet choclate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
How To Make fabulous fudge filled bars
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350.
-
Step 2In a saucepan combine Eagle brand milk, chocolate chip, butter, and vanilla. Cook over low heat stirring well until everything is melted together. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 min.
-
Step 3Using floured hands, press 1 1/2 of the rolls of cookie dough into a 13x9 baking dish. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the cookie dough. Crumble the remaining half of the cookie dough on top.
-
Step 4Bake for 25-30 min. Allow to cool before cutting.
-
Step 5You can vary this by using different cookie doughs. Adding pecans. Using extra cookie dough and making the bottom layer thicker (that's the way my family likes it).
